FANTANA LUI IOAN

In semn de omagiu, numele presedintelui Asociatiei Turistice Romania Pitoreasca in perioada 1934-1940, Nicolae Ioan, a fost atribuit captarii izvoarelor din Valea Berii, langa poteca ce leaga cabana Muntele Rosu de cabana Ciucas, captare cunoscuta si ca “Fantana Nicolae Ioan”.
"Fantana lui Nicolae Ioan", cunoscuta in trecut sub denumirea de Fantana Trei Izvoare, se afla la o altitudine de 1350 de metri si reprezinta izvorul de drept al Teleajenului, regasindu-se la intersectia traseelor ce vin de la cabana Muntele Rosu, Valea Berii si cel ce urca la Cabana Ciucas.
Fantana a fost reconstruita pentru a doua oara de domnul Gheorghe Alexe in lunile august – septembrie 2008. Fantana a mai fost reconstruita o data de G. si I. Pantelimon in 1982. Prima constructie a fantanii a fost în anul 1940.

In honor of Nicolae Ioan, the president of Asociatia Turistica Romania Pitoreasca between 1934 and 1940, his name was attributed to the intake of the springs in Valea Berii, near the path between Muntele Rosu Cabin and Ciucas Cabin. The spring is known as “Fantana Nicolae Ioan”.
“Fantana Nicolae Ioan”, know in the past as Fantana Trei Izvoare, lies at the altitude of 1350 meters and represents the true spring of Teleajen river. The spring can be found at the intersection of the hiking course that comes from Muntele Rosu and the one from Valea Berii, both going towards Ciucas.
The fountain was rebuilt the second time by Gheorghe Alexe in 2008. It was rebuilt once before by G. si I. Pantelimon in 1982. The first time the fountain was build was in 1940
