I came across this red telephone box on an excursion in which I had just placed out 'Keep In Touch - Migvie'. As I passed the caravan park, my mind went to 'Keep In Touch - Aboyne' where a caravan park had a telephone box in it. Thinking that perhaps this was the norm, I took a quick peek and sure enough, it was there.
After asking the receptionist permission to take a photo I was greeted by an older gentleman on my way back. As I spoke to him he stated that he was the one that had repainted and fixed up this box (the receptionist had mentioned this already). He want on to explain that the telephone box was painted green before he got to it. Yeah, you heard me, GREEN. Why would someone do that? Anyway, he replaced the original red colour and furthermore painted the crown gold.
