With each cache, a biography of the firefighter who gave his last act of valor will be placed in the summary. Please take the time to look through some of these biographies. Vincent E. Brunton‚ 43‚ captain‚ FDNY‚ Ladder 105 in Brooklyn. Brunton‚ known as Vinnie‚ received a medal for saving a handicapped woman from a fire in 1992. Because of his dedication to fire service training‚ Brunton’s name will be inscribed on a pillar of a new Fire Academy. Brunton’s brother Michael is also an FDNY firefighter.
