Geocache Description:

Geocaching 101 @ the ADL

Introduction to geocaching for newbies and the just plain curious.

Experienced cachers welcome too!

 

 

 


Are you new to geocaching and still trying to figure it all out? 
Are you scratching your head over lingo like muggle, GZ, FTF, TOTT?
Are you worried that Travel Bugs are contagious? 
Have you been caching for awhile but have gaps in your caching education?
Are you interested in helping newbie cachers get started and in answering their questions?

Then this event is for you and what better place to learn something new than the library!

Event Schedule

9:30 - 10:00 am Meet and greet.

Library cafe doors open at 9:00. Coffee drinks and baked goods available to purchase if you wish

10:00 - 11:00 Geocaching 101
presentation by Tessandfriends followed by a Q and A session.

11:00  ish - Find a geocache!
Newbies can team up with more experienced cachers and head out the door to look for nearby caches.

 

Do you know someone who is interested in geocaching but not yet signed up? Then tell them about this event!  Geocaching membership not required to attend.

 

Event held in Basement Level meeting room of the Adrian District Library
Use the Breakin' Away Cafe entrance at the front of the building on E. Maumee St.
