THIS EVENT IS BEING HELD AT THE HATFIELD McCOY PARK WHERE WE WILL EMBARK ON OUR RUN DOWN THE TUG RIVER. WE WILL MEET AT 9:30 AND HAVE DONUTS AND COFFEE BEFORE DROPPING THE KAYAKS IN THE WATER. THE EVENT WILL LAST FROM 9:30-10:00, SO DONT BE LATE IF YOU WANT TO JUST ATTEND THE EVENT AND WAVE AT THE KAYAKERS AS THEY LEAVE WHEN THE EVENT IS OVER.
TRANSPORATION TO AND FROM THE LAUNCH AND TAKE OUT POINTS WILL BE PROVIDED IN A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT MANNERS. YOU CAN DROP YOUR BOAT AT THE LAUNCH SITE AND DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE TAKE OUT POINT AND GET A RIDE BACK TO THE EVENT OR WE CAN GET YOU AND YOUR BOAT BACK TO THE LAUNCH SITE AFTERWARDS. IF YOU CAN HELP WITH EITHER, THAT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Also, on Friday night we will have s'mores by the campfire at the location of #001 for the Hatfield McCoy House GeoTour at the first event of the weekend. This will be in Wendy's yard at the firepit and we may even get to sample a taste of West Virginia moonshine by the campfire on Friday Evening.
On Saturday morning we will embark on our Tug River excursion by dropping kayaks into the Tug near Matewan and we will float the river gathering up the caches along the way.....50 Smileys !!! We will have coffee and donuts before we begin our adventure.
