The Hummingbird. All aboard! Traditional Cache

The railroad is a big part of Dickson's history. Passenger trains once made regular stops in Dickson. One of the most noted of those passenger trains was the L&N Hummingbird. While the train was low key and affordable to most of the general public, the Hummingbird was still an elegant, top notch affair. It was in service from the 1940's to the 1960's.

About the cache: This is a quick and easy park and grab located in historic Downtown Dickson. There is plenty of parking at GZ. If you'd like, take your photo in front of the Hummingbird mural painted by a talented local artist. And if you're hungry, you can stop in and grab a bite to eat. This is a log only so BYOP!
