Tug 2 is one of the latest diving wrecks in Malta.
This is second cache of our scuba diving cache series in Maltese islands.
The cache is located in the rearmost compartment at the wrecks deck at a depth around 16 meters / 50 feet. Although some dive leaders will take PADI OWD divers to the wreck, we recommend this cache to PADI AOWD or equivalent divers. No penetration skills needed.
The Tug 2 was sunk 2013 around 120 meters off shore from Exiles, Sliema. It's roughly 30 meters long tugboat laying on a sandy bottom with a maximum depth around 20 meters.
Here is a video from the wreck. The wreck is quite far out from the shore, so local guidance is needed. Do not attempt to dive the wreck unaccompanied.
