On my way to another cache northeast of here I passed the Richmond Cooperative Wildlife Project. The title of the cache was pretty much my reaction to what was on the other side of the road. Looks like yet another branch of the unofficial Cache Valley Wild Animal Park (distributed.) Let's find out if the elk (assuming they ARE elk!) are here year-round.
Might consider biking to this one; there isn't a good place for a car to pull off the road near the cache, and the shoulder is fairly steep. Please be careful, especially when there is snow. Watch out for thistles and rusty barbed wire.
Congratulations to 75mas, who came in from the north for the FTF!
This cache is part of the series, MountainHobbit's Mathoms, Year 9. Don't know what a mathom is? Check out Chapter 1 in the Fellowship of the Ring by J. R. R. Tolkien to find out the reason for this hobbity celebration!
