The caches for the CARL7 event will be released on Thursday, June 18 so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start. The cache should not be located prior to 6 p.m. Friday June 19.
You have to do some simple math before finding this geocache. Obviously, you are not required to visit the original starting point! Both the North and West Coordinates need to be corrected. Regular math rules apply.
North Coordinate Correction: What number is opposite of three on a six sided die? This is A. If there are four months with 30 days, add one tenth of A to the North Coordinate. If there is another number of months with 30 days, subtract one tenth of A from the above coordinates.
West Coordinate Correction: I have a magpie nest in my yard. If there are 5 magpies on my fence and I throw a rock at one of them, how many will be left on the fence? This answer is B. If Betty White is older than sliced bread, add one tenth of B to the West coordinate. If she is younger than sliced bread, subtract one tenth of B from the West coordinate.
