Geocache Description:

Cache was hidden in Akechidaira.

第2いろは坂をほぼ上りきったところにある明智平にキャッシュを隠しました。ドライブインになっていて駐車場も広いため、休憩しながら展望を楽しむ観光客でにぎわっています。

ここからロープウエイに乗って3分で到着する標高1473mの明智平展望台は日光を代表する人気の展望スポット。男体山や中禅寺湖そして中禅寺湖から流れ落ちる華厳の滝などの大パノラマが一望でき、周囲の雄大な山並みと合わせて絶景が広がります。
秋には紅葉の名所としても知られており、四季折々の見事な自然の造形美を楽しむことができます。
