Geocache Description:

Just wanted to draw attention to this neat piece of patriotism which is getting to be more rare these days.

The windows to the restaurant look dark during the day but those inside are looking right at you. BYOP. Please write TINY to reduce maintenance.

If you or a significant other have served, please mention it in your log: When, where, etc. We thank you and yours for protecting our freedom.

The restaurant opens at 11 am so before that is a good time to hunt.

This cache has a "sister" cache in Phoenix: GC5NQDY

Log of TX Cronin August 2019: "This definitely gets a fav from us. Combines our favorite things—geocaching and honoring out vets. It’s not lost on us that we wouldn’t be able to freely roam this great nation if it weren’t for the sacrifice of so many. Thanks to all the loggers who’ve indicated they served and to all the families that supported them along the way."

Posted by MANNFAM, Jan 2017: Thank you for sharing , My first and olny TB was called "Highest Honor Purple Heart TB32QGF" It was a Purple Hart Ring attached to a TB. The ring was beat up but I still was able to make out three initials. The ring was made of silver. If you was to scrap it, you would be lucky to get $ 15.00 for it. HERE IS THE STORY Current GOAL Goal of Travel Bug is to find the rightful owner of the Vietnam Purple Heart Ring. I ask that the Travel Bug stay in Tucson, AZ for now. About This Item I work in Tucson, AZ and I found this ring in the sewer system. I had the ring thoroughly cleaned and now I am trying to find the rightful owner or next of kin. I have exhausted all of my other resources so I am asking the Geocache community for help. Please help me do the right thing and please post any leads you may have to the rightful owner. If the owner is found, it would be nice to have a picture of the owner being reunited with the ring. The ring made it to two caches. The cache I put it in, from there some one moved it to its last location. Still not completely over it .
