Jäppilän urheilukenttä on rakennettu 1950-luvulla talkootyöllä.

Kentällä järjestetään nykyisin joka vuosi perinnekisat. Kenttä on myös vapaassa käytössä.

Huom! Kätkön koordinaatit ovat (tällä hetkellä, 16.10.15) hyvin luultavasti erittäin pielessä. Toivottavasti tarkennetusta vihjeestä on apua etsinnässä. :)
