Old Route 5 – Sheffy12065 Traditional Cache

Placed along a section of poured concrete road that is no longer in use.  I suspect this is a part of Route 5 that was realigned.  Although nature is working hard to reclaim this road it hasn’t succeeded yet as much of this road is in better shape than many we drive on now.  Although no longer used as a road it does make a great route between the parking area at Lock 9 State Canal Park on the west side of Bridge Street and GC42CJ6 What is 15-7? 

This cache container is one that scubakings and I found while searching for one of Mike’s caches and finding two.  We combined the logs and removed the extra container vowing someday to put it to good use.  After finding this cache you may wish to look for the others along old Route 5.
