Here is another Hidden Gem that I have driven past many times before, but today I decided to stop and enjoy the view, and what a view it is!
There is parking available on site so you could choose to cache and dash, but the preferred option is definitely to take a picnic with you and enjoy the wonderful view over the Axe Valley. Just below the picnic area is the Colyton Community Woodland & Meadow - it's a bit overgrown in the summer but again it's a beautiful spot.
The cache is placed down the slope from the car park so you have a degree of privacy, but muggles may still be able to see you from above if they are sat out on the benches. You may need tweezers to extract the log and will need a pen.
Update on 19 April 2016: A new cache container is now in place at the same spot. It's easy to find the container but not so easy to access the logbook. I would encourage cachers who have already found the previous container to come back and have a go at this one - hopefully you will enjoy it!
