I have great memories of picking blackberries on this lane and my Mum making enough bramble jelly to feed the whole of Glen. These blackberries were the biggest and juiciest berries I have ever seen and needless to say we ate our fill while picking them. Sad to see that most of the briars have been cut back for easier access but hopefully there will still be some to pick in the Autumn.
The lane is steep and there is some loose gravel in one spot although it is mostly grass. Cache is small tab-lock box with room for some trinkets. Since placing this cache the lane has become much less used and there is now much more nettles and undergrowth. I don't want to change the d/t but I would now class it 3/3.5.
