Geocache Description:

Plainwell was proud to bring the Smithsonian Exhibit, “The Way We Worked,” to town during the summer of 2015. As part of this exhibit ten new caches were placed in and around Plainwell to highlight this great community and the occupations of its inhabitants. Pick up clues from each of the 10 traditional caches and put them together. When you turn your final answer in at City Hall you can take home your very own Island City commemorative token!

To claim your commemorative token, turn you answers in at Plainwell City Hall during normal business hours. 211 Main St, Plainwell (Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm).

Agriculture is a big part of my heritage and one of the things that drew early settlers to Plainwell. We owe a lot to farmers who grow the food to feed us! 

As always, it's up to you whether or not to pursue finding and signing the log on a particular geocache -- please know that you choose to find each of these geocaches, and do so at your own risk. !
