Second of a pair of caches we have been wanted to hide for a while in the beautiful Hindhead Commons. This cache is paced very near where I used to ride my bike as a child and climbed the trees and made dens. This cache is perfect for a lovely walk with the kids and family.
Hindhead Commons is an area of outstanding natural beauty and this has been enhanced by the tunnel taking traffic away and the work the local rangers have done is amazing making this one of the most lovely places to visit in the south of England.
Cahce is a small container containing a log and can hold some small items. BYOP.
Please make sure cache is replaced and hidden back in the tree trunk and is well hidden please. Some stealth will be required as is placed near the main path which can get quite busy.
Cache placed with the very kind permission of The National Trust who look after this area, and all areas, amazingly well. The work they do to keep our countryside looking amazing and well managed.
GEOCACHING ON NATIONAL TRUST LAND IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK. PLEASE RESPECT ALL PATHWAYS AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
Happy Hunting!
