The Fugue Devil is a demon, called up from the netherworld by musicians who found a key to opening gateways to "other" places. Legend has it that the Fugue Devil appears every 17 years on the Autumn Equinox, and the saying goes, "If you know about it, it knows about you. And if you see it, it will come for you." Do you have what it takes to seek out the Fugue Devil?
The Fugue Devil cache is placed just off the trail, and would be an easy find . . . if not for the Fugue Devil himself. Parking and access to the trailhead are at the back of the nearby historic mill, or park across the street at the Bethania Town Hall. This cache is best found in the daytime both for the ease of seeing the ammo box and avoiding the Fugue Devil, but geocachers are known to be risk takers, aren't they? Thanks to Damned Rodan who gave me the inspiration for this cache. Original contents includes pin-back Fugue Devil buttons.
