Paths in the forest are mainly old concrete roads but some paths can be rutty tracks (this cache is on one of those rutty tracks!). Be prepared for nettles, brambles and mud! Most of the paths are fairly flat but some are on a steady incline/decline, (the hill at Park Farm is steepest (near GC5PX3P)).
This cache is between HFMA Series 6 - Augurs Hill Copse (GC5WZ87) and Park Farm Crab Tree (GC5PX2P). When I was little (with a vivid imagination) there was more of the wire fencing still standing that at either end of this path (this path used to go through a pheasant pen hence why the wire fencing was there in the first place), it used to remind me of the part in the Jurassic Park film where they unwittingly entered the pterodactyl cage. There is hardly any of the wire fencing now and it looks nothing like a pterodactyl cage!
