On 6/10/2015 2Wolfes and I floated this stretch in the search of 5 lonely caches. So others to follow have more caches to enjoy I added an additional 8 for now. I am not a big fan of Micro's (especially in the woods), however due to the high water fluctuations you may encounter on this beautiful stretch of river there are very few locations to hide ammo cans although we did hide a couple. Depending on the water level you will probably have to look up. That being said, this hide is more about the journey and sights you will encounter vs. the cache itself. Container is big enough for small trade items (see spoiler pic).
THE BEACH
The Beach is a 2000 adventure drama film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Richard (Leonardo Dicaprio), a young American man with a love of world travel, arrives in Bankok, Thailand in search of adventure. At his guesthouse he briefly meets Daffy, a mentally disturbed Scottish traveler who tells him of a pristine island in the Gulf of Thailand, uninhabited and forbidden, on which there lies a beautiful hidden beach and lagoon - walled in by cliffs and untouched by the tourist industry.
While this beach may not be on a pristine island in the Gulf of Thailand or "untouched", it is a nice lil' backwoods Georgia version.......... Enjoy!
