Geocache Description:

Welcome to Hot Springs the Southern Gateway to the Black Hills

A short Distance on hwy 18 truck bypass is the Mammoth Site americas largest deposit of mammoth remains. Great tours and museum with active digging in July. All indoors and a great place to get out of the weather. At the north end of town is Evans plunge an indoor and outdoor naturally heated swimming pool with waterslides. South of town is Angostura dam a walleye fishery and state park. On the north edge is Cottonwood dam with trout and bass.  Both dams have campgrounds. Ten miles north is Wind Cave National Park with abundant wildlife and a great cave.

Cache is a park n grab with plenty of room to pull off on the shoulder out of traffic.  Your looking for a small medicine bottle and BYOP. At certain times of the day there is quite a bit of traffic so be stealthy.  Easy grab.
