The Rock Traditional Cache

While driving about I the mountains had a go at getting the car up here.  We did it but would not recommend a 2x4 or anything with low ground clearance, some of the holes are pretty deep.  There is plenty of room to turn around at the top so getting down easy, although the rubble surface requires engine brake rather than foot peddle brake for a safer descent.  Stay safe people.  Fantastic views at the top well worth the effort even if walking up.

The Rock is a 1996 American action film that primarily takes place on Alcatraz Island and in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was directed by Michael Bay, produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Sean Connery, Nicolas Cage and Ed Harris. The film is dedicated to Simpson, who died five months before its release.

The cache is placed in an area which is available at anytime, though due to the drive up the hill to the site I would not recommend a night grab.

Magnetic nano container so bring your own pen and probably tweezers will be required too.
