Welcome to Concord, formerly Sumner's Grove. The locals refer to this place as Old Concord to differentiate it from the newer West Concord. When the railroad came through in the late 19th century, it was placed three miles to the west of town. Like so many other prairie towns of the day, buildings and businesses moved to be closer to the Iron Horse. Unlike some other towns, Concord hung on to existence and is still a sleepy community.
This multi takes you to two different locations in town. The first one is a new historical plaque. There is a year listed on this plaque. Have this number equal to A. In order to find the second location and the cache, proceed to N 44 08.X W 92 50.Y. Where X = A-1019 & Y = A - 1771. Good luck.
