Restin' in Sand Point Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This resting cache is a simple hide in another historic cemetery in Renfrew County. Snowshoes would be recommended in winter. Look for a small camouflaged container resting in a cozy spot. Please bring your own pen. Congratulations to Starkiller, ex_mann and Lueders4 on being the FTF!
A walk through Sand Point Public Cemetery helps to remind one of how long ago this area of Renfrew County was settled and by whom. The Scottish connection to Archibald McNab's early settlers is reflected in the names of many of the families (e.g., Carmichael, Campbell, Dewer, McNeill) resting here. Enjoy your visit and as always, be respectful.
