Geocache Description:

The ruins of Takai-jyo.

The Takai castle consisted the Negoro deffence line along with the Kogi-river. You can see only the small hill as the residue of the castle.

高井城は近木川沿いに根来集が設けた一連の防衛拠点の一つである。この防衛線で根来集が豊臣側を迎え撃ったが、福島正則により攻め落とされた。
