Geocache Description:

The ruins of Sengokubori-jyo.

The Sengokubori castle consisted the Negoro deffence line along with the Kogi-river. You can see the the residue of the castle at around the cache.

千石掘城は近木川沿いに根来集が設けた一連の防衛拠点の一つである。この防衛線で根来集が豊臣側を迎え撃ったが、福島正則により攻め落とされた。
