Llanfabon is a single road leading from the Railway Inn at Nelson to the top of the hill, a distance of about 1 mile, where you can find the Llanfabon Inn.
This is the first geocache we have ever placed. It is a pleasant walk from bottom of the hill to the top, providing some nice views across the valley. Depending on the time of the year you will see lambs, buzzards and the occasional Red Kite.
For the cache you will need to stay road side of the gardens in the street and while looking for this one please take time to look at the birds that visit the garden. We regularly see Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Bullfinch, Blue tit, Great tit, Cole tit, Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Treecreeper and many others. You are looking for a disguised micro hidden in a garden wall. You will need tweezers and a pen.
