Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in a forest near the place named Kurgan, which is a mountainous forest area between the Kukkuvka and Drevlyanka districts of the city, nearby river Lososinka.

The cache is hidden in a forest near the place named Kurgan, which is a mountainous forest area between the Kukkuvka and Drevlyanka districts of the city, nearby river Lososinka. Nearby is the Republican sports (ski) Center "Kurgan" named after Fedor Terentyev (eng, fi), Olympic champion in 1956, as well as 13-time champion of the USSR in cross country skiing at various distances.
During winter season skiers and biathletes have their trainings and competitions in the area as well as sled dog races are held there. In the summer time - cyclo-cross competitions.
Kurgan is one of the places of leisure and sports activities of citizens.

Тайник расположен в лесу в местечке Курган, который представляет собой гористый участок леса между районами города Кукковка и Древлянка у реки Лососинки. Поблизости находится республиканский спортивный (лыжный) комплекс Курган имени Федора Терентьева, олимпийского чемпиона 1956 года, а также 13-кратного чемпиона СССР по лыжным гонкам на различные дистанции.
В зимний период на территории Кургана проводятся тренировки и соревнования лыжников и биатлонистов, а также гонки на собачьих упряжках. В летнее время - соревнования по велокроссу.
Курган является одним из мест отдыха и занятий спортом горожан.
