Geocache Description:

This is located in Brooktree Park. You will start in the parking lot and finish on the edge of the park somewhere. You will be given directions to the final from the starting point. Please use extreme caution while retrieving the cache.

Directions to the cache... From the starting point head North along the sidewalk until you get to the grass. Once you get to the grass continue between the ball fields. You will pass a yellow pole on your left and come to another yellow pole on your right. Once you get there turn to the East and go under a scoreboard. You will go past several tables on your left and head over a little hill. Once you go over the hill you will come to a white gate between wooden posts. Once you are there head North until the ground turns red. In the red ground there is a yellow rectangle. At the yellow rectangle turn to the West and go past a fish, a dog and more tables on your left. Once you go past the tables you will come to a light pole on your left. Stop here. From the pole count 23 to the West. At number 23 head South to a sprinkler head on the ground. The cache is on your left and low to the ground. Please use extreme caution while grabbing the cache.

ABOUT LETTERBOX-HYBRIDS :

Please bring your own stamp and paper log. When you find
the letterbox:

1) Stamp your own stamp in the visitor’s log, and sign
your name and the date.

2) Stamp the letterbox STAMP on your own paper/book as
a remembrance of your visit.

3) A letterbox-hybrid is related to geocaching in that
you start out with lat-long coordinates, switch to
letterboxing instructions, then you can log your find on
the geocaching website. In addition, they have trade items,
can be used to exchange travel bugs, and they count towards your geocache totals.
Please do not take the STAMP as a trade item.
