The series was set in Vermont and the exterior was shot near my current home in East Middlebury, VT at the Waybury Inn. These 3 brothers, 2 of whom never spoke on the show, showed up in the second episode of the show offering to dig up a dead witch from the basement of the inn for $1. They quickly became comic icons on the show garnering enthusiastic audience reaction whenever they walked on the set. (much the same way Lenny & Squiggy did on the Laverne & Shirley show in the 70's.)
Every time I drive by one of these places, I think of Larry, Darryl and Darryl, so I thought I would place some caches in their honor. The first one is a salute to their first Newhart appearance, where the Newharts discovered that they had a dead witch buired in the basement of the inn. The goofy neighbor says he knows some people that will take care of it for them. Thus the legend of Larry, Darryl and Darryl began.
The cache should be easy to find, but there is a potential for high muggle activity.
