Saskatoon is hot city in the summer, both in weather and festivals, as you can enjoy the river banks with all sorts of fare, from the food festival “Taste of Saskatchewan” to listening to some cool Jazz in the “Jazz Festival” to exploring all the cultures of the world in “Folkfest” or even see nature in its finest in the "Forestry Park and Zoo" and many more.....
See the castle on the river in the beautiful Bessborough, possibly even by river on a paddleboat. Saskatoon is a growing city that is almost 350,000 people in a GSA area and soon to be 500,000 in the next decade plus.....
The cache itself is a classic TB Hotel (cammo'd lock n lock), situated near the Airport for all the weary out of town guests that want to drop off or pick up TB’s/GC's or even locals who would like to give their trackables a chance to head out in the world on a goal from Saskatoon’s 'John G. Diefenbaker' International Airport.
- The cache is approximately 1-1/2 kilometres (1 mile) round trip walking distance from the airport.
- You can park directly across from the cache (no parking fees) at the hotel across the street or on road shoulder near GZ – refer to the Additional Waypoints for parking coordinates.
- Please use stealth when accessing the cache. There is excellent cover behind the sign for cache retrieval. You can also pull a 'tourist' trick and take a photo of the Saskatoon sign if muggles are present. We welcome any and all pictures of you at the GZ.
- The roadway can be heavily travelled at certain times of day, use caution when crossing the street.
Big thanks to 'Tackpee' for helping create. place and maintain this geocache. Both him and I are co-owners of this geocache so if you need anything, please don't hesitate to contact either of us. Keep Calm and Cache On!!
