Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the new Don Carter State Park (opened 7-15-2013). The park is open from 7 AM to 10 PM. (No night caching) There is a $5 parking fee unless you have the annual state park pass. The cache is located just off the Huckleberry Nature trail. Do Not drive to the cache location.  This cache has been placed with the permission of the Don Carter State Park manager. Make sure you thank them for supporting caching in this park.

This cache is placed along the Huckleberry Nature trail. You are looking for an ammo box just a couple feet off the trail. Please re-hide the cache better than you found it. Enjoy the view and the bench at this location.

In case you were wondering Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

At its simplest level, geocaching requires these 8 steps:

  4. Choose any geocache from the list and click on its name.
  5. Enter the coordinates of the geocache into your GPS Device.
