This is my second cache placement in Walton-on-The Naze, my first being GC5C1RZ Anazeing-the Naze Cliff's, on the edge of the incredible Naze Cliff's's. This new cache ,The Walton Wanderer is placed just next to the cliff footpath where it begins, just at the end of Cliff Parade. With expansive views over the beach huts, and along the sandy beach towards the pier. There is free parking along Cliff Parade, and it's a loverly walk up to the cache from here. You can continue along the cliff path, which winds its way through a tunnel of trees, flowers, and with glimpses of the sea as you walk, and eventually it will lead you up to the Naze Tower. There are a few seats at GZ, and I have sat here many a time and taken in the fantastic views, and watched the world go by, and I must say, it's a great deal slower in Walton. So sit a while on the seat here, take in the view, wander down the steps, choose a ice cream, wander back up, and start your search! You are surrounded by a few of these here! but there is only one your looking for, The Walton Wanderer! the little bu##er!
