Clovers, the four leaf variety, are often associated with luck and leprechauns. It is rumored that an old leprechaun, who was known for his flying skills, died near this location and his magic was transferred to this tree (as it was the nearest living object large enough to absorb the power). Over the years, the magic has weakened, but it is said that it can still make things levitate. However, it only has the strength to levitate one object at a time. If you are lucky, you may experience this levitation. If not, you may witness it happening to another object. Please approach the Magic Tree and look up. You should be able to see the cache from the ground. It is a camouflaged matchstick container. If this is your lucky day, you can reach your hand toward the cache and say "Take me to the geocache" and you will be lifted up to the cache and be able to sign the log with ease. When done, say "Return me to the ground". However if, when you look up into the Magic Tree, you see another object levitating, the magic is already being utilized. This will not be the day that you can fly up to the cache. You will have to use your own powers to reach the cache. Please do not pull on any levitating objects or the magic may be lost forever. [Note: if you are vertically challenged, you may want to bring one of those grab-it tools often used for CITO events]
