This is my second hide at Carlin Weld Park. This adventure will take you past the manmade pond where fishing is allowed. Bring a chair and a magazine and pack a lunch. You will be surrounded by the sounds of birds and nature where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
You may see a few animal holes, so be sure to watch where you walk. Otherwise, this is a nice walk without any bushwacking required. Please replace as you found.
Dogs are allowed here, but they must be on a leash. Please be sure to pick up after them. There is a dog waste station by the parking lot.
This park has an automatic gate system, which opens at sunrise and closes at sunset. Do not search for this after dark.
Permission to place this has been granted by the Jefferson County Parks on 6-11-2015. There is a $1.00 for the FTF. Please rememer to CITO and have respect for the area.
