If you attended this event two years ago, you'll remember we wowed the vendors and customers at the Farmer's market with the Last Saskatchewan Pirate. Last year it was time for the Tacky Tourists to visit the same venue.
We will be dancing to a taped rendition of the Hokey Pokey. It is one of the original versions.
We're sure most people know the Hokey Pokey since it is played at wedding and anniversary dances everywhere. If you don't know the dance, check it out on YouTube.
We will dance the hokey pokey until we have most of the Farmer's Market singing and dancing along.
We're not sure what a neat Hokey Pokey costume would be, but someone suggested we have some way of identifying ourselves. One of the suggestions was that we all put on a mask when we start. It is suggested the mask be a simple masquerade mask (like the Lone Ranger wears).
We'll enter the hall individually starting about 10:50 and circulate through the hall. at 11:00 the music will start and we'll dance the hokey pokey till the music runs out. The last part of the song is a chorus so, when that starts, we'll start making our way out of the hall, doing the hokey pokey until we are out of the hall (music or not). So sign up that you'll attend and we'll let you know via announcements.
Remember we have a great time at these flash mobs and the organizers, the vendors and the customers really enjoy having us there! So, take a break during the caching day, dust off your boots and come join us!
