Synclair Park is Kaukapakapa's Number 1 sports ground. It is home to Kaukapakapa's:

Other number 1 sports played here are, Athletics, T-Ball, Tennis, Netball, Cricket.
Synclair park is also home of:

And a Number 1 Cache.
When I first thought of putting a cache here, there was a style at GZ. I was going to call the cache 'Kaukapakapa style'. However, by the time I got around to putting in the cache, the style had gone and had been replaced by a gate. 'Kaukapakapa gate - didn't work the same for a cache name, now what would I call it? Then I spotted a number 1 place.
Cache is a magnetic Eclipse mint tin. GZ is just out of view of any activities, so you should still be able to find it, with a bit of stealth, even when there are people about.
Word of warning. Your GPS may take you to 'Henly Rd'. Half of this road however is only a paper road – you can't get all the way through to Macky Rd. Although you can reach the cache, from the end of Henly Rd, by walking across the pony fields, the easiest approach from the carpark on Macky road, off Peak Road.
