Geocache Description:

SEARCH is the only registered non-profit Geocaching club in SE Alberta and is run by volunteers.  Vision:Medicine Hat will be the top Alberta destination for Geocaching. Purpose:To promote family involvement, physical activity, friendship in our outdoor sport, to actively promote the Cache In Trash Out (CITO) program. Mission:To promote ethical Geocaching within our community, by providing regular events, high quality caches, & opportunities to learn about Geocaching.

After a busy night of caching, and another full day ahead of you, we would love you to start your day bright and early with us! Come join us at the Medicine Hat Tourist Center to fuel up and regroup before heading out again. This event will be held between 8 and 9am. Coffee, beverages, and assorted snacks will be available for you to enjoy at 8:00am to 8:30am. A group photo will be taken in front of the Tourist Center at 8:30am before we go off on our way!

At 8:30am will be your opportunity to grab your sheet of information, for a self-guided tour of some of James Marshall’s Brick Murals, located in Medicine Hat & Redcliff. This is not a race, so feel free to take as much time as you want. Make sure you grab the caches in the areas you stop at!!!

We will update the page, including making announcements if anything changes.

To start, you will need to visit the Tourist Center by the teepee and receive a printed sheet of paper. Each sheet will contain a list of locations and clues. You will have to seek out each set of coordinates and solve the clues for each one to receive a final set of coordinates. Once you have the final coordinates, you will go to that location and you will find a cache with some cards in it. Take a card and present it to the, yet to be named person, at the S6: CARMH VI event.

This is a showcase of James Marshall’s art work. We do encourage you to take your time, and find some caches on the way to, or near each location. You are welcome to participate alone, or with your caching partners in crime. While this is not a race, for the purposes of the event, and limited manpower we will have a start and end time from which the sheets will be available. The event coordinates will be the location of the Tourist Center, where you can pick up your sheet and grab snacks between 8 and 9am. We can't wait to see you there!
