This cache is placed with permission from the landowner, so please be respectful of the area surrounding it, and as with all geocaches, leave it as you left it.
While here, take a look behind you. The small creek at the bottom of the ravine doesn't officially have a name, but is generally known as Legal Creek by the locals. Water here flows towards the Athabasca River, and will eventually find its way to the Peace River, Slave River, and Mackenzie River before ending up in the Arctic Ocean. The ravine here in this area is known as "V-hill" and has been the cause of more than one broken leg of kids trying their luck skiing down it in the winter. "Machine gun hill" is a slightly gentler slope down to the bottom, located just a bit further south.
