Geocache Description:

This Hidden Gem is the Heritage Trail walk in and around Seaton. The Trail doesn't seem to be known by too many people but takes you through a variety of beautiful countryside, next to working farms and stables, and even along the magnificent South West Coastal Path overlooking Beer and Seaton. Thanks to my local running club for showing me the way around here!

The Heritage Trail is marked by white signs with an owl on them (see attached photo in the Image Gallery), so please follow these if you are ever lost between caches number 3 and 7 of this series. The first 2 caches are not actually on the Trail but are on public footpaths which lead you onto the trail. The whole series of 7 caches is in a loop of around 3 miles which should take you around 90 minutes to walk. Parking is available at Seaton Hole (see waypoint). I hope that you enjoy the latest caches in the series of Hidden Gems.

Number 1: Hill Climb - this cache is not placed on the Heritage Trail but leads you onto it. There's a bit of a steep hill to climb coming up from Seaton Hole, but lovely views of the valley and sea (in the distance) await you. You may need tweezers to extract the log.
