The square is located near Independence Square and St. Michael's Cathedral. An old fence here was dismantled by activists in armed clashes 18-20 February of 2014.
"Edge of the place and you can see on the barricades near the European area, and barricades here at St. Michael's, so it is very symbolic place" - says MP Andriy Shevchenko, who also took part in the cleaning area.
According to members of the initiative group to create art Hundreds of Heaven park, building and decoration will involve Ukrainian artists who are developing the concept of the future park.
