Number 4: Down on the Farm - please read! If you are following the Heritage Trail from cache number 3, then please be very careful when coming down the hill leading to the farm. If you follow the public footpath directly down the hill, there is a wire fence that you must pass beneath. The alternative is to skirt around the fence to the right and pass through the farm itself. You will also notice that there is quite a pungent smell in the air - rural working life at its best!
After the farm, you pass through a couple of fields before arriving at another farm, the location of the 4th cache in the series. Lots of animals to view down here. Remember to keep following those white owl markers if you can (see attached photo in the image gallery). You may need tweezers to extract the log.
