Lower Coverdale School Traditional Cache

This geocache is located near the old Lower Coverdale School which was opened in 1963 and closed in 2013 with a count of 77 students.

While searching for this geocache park at the Lower Coverdale School parking lot. Walk along the path on the side closer to the road that goes around the playground, if you are going the right way you will walk past the metal play structure then a set of swings and lastly a yellow socer net. Stop about halfway between the 2 soccer nets and search for the cache near the ditch. A reminder to stay on the side of the road where the school path is and not where cars drive. The cache is lightly buried under a small tree. Please sign the logbook and exchange treasures if there are any availible. When finished twist the cover on tightly and put it back in its home. Be sure that it is buried with a few leaves to create more of a challange for future cachers. Thanks and enjoy!
