At the minute all we have is a Yorkshire shaped blank canvas - we have no location/venue in mind, no organising committee to pull it together, no scheme for how we can raise the money to hold it, no plan for what events we should have on and no idea of what colour shirts we should wear.
The first thing we need to do is get some ideas together and submit a proposal/bid to the UK Mega account committee to see if they will grant Yorkshire the right to hold the 2018 Mega. And probably try and put some sort of committee together.
So the purpose of this event is to
i) Have some breakfast
ii) See if we can start to assemble some of the above.
Of course, in the spirit of eventing, anyone is welcome to attend, without being involved in i or ii. Not sure why anyone would mind...
