Geocache Description:

YOU MUST ENTER THE FENCED OFF AREA TO RETRIEVE THE CACHE VIA THE SMALL GATE. PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANYTHING INTO THE CACHE HOLDER! This cache takes a bit of thought when found and all tools are provided to retrieve the geocache and log . Please message me if having trouble.

District Mayor Martin Lonergan officially re-opened Denis Burke Park in Clonmel 17/04/2015

The Park was redesigned and redeveloped at a cost of €250,000 and followed what Cllr. Lonergan said was “a year-and-a-half of brainstorming, workshops and public consultation, thanks in no small part to the participation and input of community forum Suircan, residents of the area and the former members of Clonmel Borough Council”.The land on which the park is located was donated in memory of the late Denis Burke.

Please do not disturb the cache from its hide and follow all instructions, BYOB

Very important question was put to me about the area the container is in, its for the local Scout and Guide groups, to practice tent pitching and do pioneering projects. This cache may not be available during winter due to the park flooding.
