HEAD HIGH STINGING NETTLES in summer - hence high terrain rating. Ok in the winter, just a bit muddy.
Please note: This path through the woods is rather elusive! If coming from # 9 RRR - take the path from the footbridge half right, which leads you up a narrow track uphill through the trees. At the top there is a yellow arrow post pointing sharp right into the woods - this will bring you to this cache. See trailhead waypoint.
On leaving this cache, continue along the path through woods until you emerge on the golf course. After looking both ways in case of flying golf balls, carry straight on across two fairways, following white posts in the distance – this is the legal right of way. TAKE GREAT CARE here that golfers aren’t taking their shots. After the second fairway you come onto St Peter’s Way.
