Geocache Description:

Velkomin to "Lundi Moose - The Largest Moose in Manitoba"

Lundi Moose came to the Interlake in 2007. Named for the community in which he resides, Lundi meaning "Grove of trees", was the former name of the original settlement located on the east side of the Icelandic River. The name "Riverton" evolved sometime around 1915 along with the coming of the CP Railway Station.

 

While in town stay to check out some of the other sights and explore some of the hidden beached in the area.
