The track follows the river all the way up to the falls. Good bush and great views. When you reach the falls lookout, the cache should be easy to find. Be careful of arriving muggles. There is a steep track down to the base of the falls which is a popular swimming place in summer. You can explore adandoned mines in the area but keep children close as there are hidden holes and steep cliffs. Another five minutes up the main track will take you to pools at the top of the falls.
For the adventourous you can carry on to GC44X3Q but be prepared for another 2hours (return) walk uphill and Mud, and rough, narrow tramping track from the top of the falls. Boots or good walking shoes necessary. Take a snack! The views and the cache make it worthwhile for the fit if you have time!
