The level of this crossing was raised in 2012. It was a combined effort from the Kempsey Shire council & Fisheries NSW. The result is that residents in the area are not flooded-in as much & the fish, migrating up & down the creek will have a better chance of survival. At times of severe flooding, the torrent of water can be up to 3m above this crossing.
The cache is a small tube containing only a log sheet. You will need to bring a pencil & an extraction tool. Between here and Wittitrin Fire Station is owned by 3 families, all of them know about the cache on or near their land, if asked just tell them you are geocaching and know mike & Gloria
