Mumu Fish Traditional Geocache

If you haven't dusted off your kayaks yet this summer, here's another good excuse to take a paddle up the Croton River.

You can see our house from here, sort of. When the leaves are off the trees, it barely peaks out from the trees up the hill toward the east. Way up the hill. Maybe we'll put in a zip line down to this cache, but for now we'll just kayak up the river like everyone else.

Paddling is a bit easier at high tide (see tidal chart) , but you should be able to get to this island even when it is lower.
